What is PAMZ?

Established in 1997, PAMZ is a non-profit group who is responsible to identify air quality concerns within the zone and to implement management strategies to address those concerns. The Parkland Airshed Management Zone Association is dedicated to improving the air quality that you and I breathe.

Land Acknowledgement

PAMZ acknowledges that we and our members operate on the traditional lands of the Indigenous peoples of Treaty 6 and Treaty 7, as well as the Métis Nations 2 and 3. We honor and respect the deep, significant relationships these communities maintain with the land, water, wildlife, and air. We recognize the importance of listening to Indigenous voices and commit to fostering meaningful partnerships that honor their rights, traditions, and stewardship of the environment.
